72 degrees in coastal NC, can't beat it!

I have spent most of the day outside instead of my sewing studio--even had the ringers off on the cell phone. What can I say? It's been a short week (gone to Chapel Hill last Sunday and Monday for my annual checkup) and I was trying to catch up everything in four days I normally do in five--overwhelmed--thus the yard thing. Pulled a few weeds, mulched a flower bed or two, and rested the old mind! The checkup went well, I was given a thumbs up--feeling stronger than this time last year. As per usual, UNC Memorial Hospital was undergoing construction. I have been seeing this same specialist since 1988 and go at least once a year, sometimes more. I have never been when there wasn't construction going on. They are building another new building.

Elizabeth City's Potato Festival is next weekend. I don't have a booth, but I have stuff in several booths as far as promos, cards, and have my stuff in a boutique down town. I am hoping it will be a prosperous day.
